Instructions for Camera-Ready

Final camera-ready papers are due by June 11, 2018, and can be uploaded here:
https://www.softconf.com/coling2018/main/

Please kindly keep in mind that at least one author of your paper needs to register and pay for the main conference for your paper to be published.

Below please find instructions for preparing your final version for the main conference. If you have questions, you can contact publication co-chairs: Xiaodan Zhu and Zhiyuan Liu at:  coling2018pub@gmail.com

General Instructions

  1. The Program Committee worked very hard to thoroughly review all the submitted papers.  Please repay their efforts, by following their suggestions when you revise your paper. The reviews are included at the bottom of this message.
  2. The style files must be adhered to. Templates for both LaTeX and Word are available here: http://coling2018.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/coling2018.zip. We noticed that some submissions did not fully follow styles such as spacing, fonts, and citation formats. Please make sure your camera-ready version follows the required styles.
  3. You are required to insert the license statement as an unnumbered footnote on the first page. Please refer to Section 3.9 of our template (coling2018.pdf) for details.
  4. You are allowed one extra content page to address reviewer comments.
  5. You are encouraged to translate your title and abstract to a language other than English relevant to your paper (e.g. a language studied in the paper, the language of your country affiliation, or your first language), and allowed the extra space required for this. If you choose to include a second-language title and abstract, you should ensure it follows the required styles (see instructions below) and its content should show correctly in the PDF file. You must make sure to embed all fonts in pdf for other languages.
  6. You are allowed up to 6 pages for appendices.
  7. It is of utmost importance to specify the A4 format (21 cm x 29.7 cm) when formatting your PDF.

Instructions for Papers That Include Second-Language Title & Abstract

It is optional that authors can choose to include a second-language title and abstract (synopsis) in your camera-ready version (see call-for-papers or Section 5 of coling2018.pdf in the following template for details).

Papers with a second-language title and abstract (synopsis) can have up to 11 content pages, plus references and up to six pages of appendices. The second-language abstract/synopsis can have a length up to one page.
